black days..
It has been a long time since i have written a blog post, and this is weird. I don't know if i want to keep this regular. I wouldn't have much to say either. but once i start writing..
I usually am nerve wracked about anything i do not understand. I used to hide it from showing up on my face by having a poker face. After a handful of years, i want to let my emotions appear as a life experiment. These emotions, i believe could help me improve as a person, not just by communication but also as a feedback to myself. A poker face has its place in a tennis game, where the oponent finds it hard to guess my state of fitness, anxiety..
Nerves are an important part of our body. No one should ignore it, especially when you have a freshly injured nerve, however small the pain is. I have been carrying a low back pain (buttocks) for past 8 weeks. The sciatica nerve to the left is pinched, so the doctor says. He goes on to record that the root of the problem lies in the spine. The main reason for this being bad sitting posture(great!) aggravated by the nasty fall i had last rainy season. At that time, the homeopathic treatment lasted 2 weeks before i was fully back and running. Now after so many bouts of depression, changes to foods along with the homeopathic treatment, i feel i am on my way back to being injury free. That means i can play tennis again. Woohoo!.
Now, i must remember these past black weeks forever so that they remain a guiding light for my future.
When i arch back now, the intensity of pain is reduced and i believe that i will recover fully. Four important changes in past four days:

- hired a maid servant to clean the house with phenol mixed water and wash clothes daily..she would not use dettol dont ask..
- bought a coir mattress that promises to hold firm and flat even after the crushing moves i make when sleeping..
- added nuts, honey to morning breakfast..
- added Marmite to morning breakfast..
Marmite is a yeast extract product from the yeast of brewing industry. Why did i decide to try this for idly and toast after reading reviews about its unique and truly abominable taste, well it has lots of vitamin b1 which i read helps repairing nerve damage..you see. There are similar yeast extracts like the two Australian named Vegemite, Promite and another British called Bovril. These competitors are supposedly sweeter when compared to Marmite's bad taste. Marmite is British, though the formula was originally discovered by a German chemist named Liebeg during Louis Pasteur time.
Yesterday, by 5:30 in the evening i decided to give the Crawford market a try after the 'super'markets in Vashi didn't have any stock of Marmite. Not surprising to the least. Nobody would like this damn thing, though Marmite is my best friend now. Crawford market is located near Chatrapati Shivaji Railway Terminal, Mumbai. I love to roam around this lovely market. It has variety in all things. It had Marmite, right!. I am almost sure the price for most products can be bargained, from the very little time of the last three times i spent there. I left the crowded 6:14 train alone, took the 6:30 one, reached CST by 7:20, walked for 10 minutes and reached the market, realized the market is closed on Sundays, decided to go around the market anyway, found a few shops open in the second row of shops, bought the lone 250 grams plastic jar for
280..
My review: Its not that bad..leaves a burning sensation in tongue just like a super hot tea. I am not looking forward to eating it tomorrow, but it will become a part of my diet from now..
Apart from all this, i created my google+ profile. I love it and will be posting photos more often in coming months. I bought Light of Yoga by BKS Iyengar. I love it too and looking forward to reading it more. My work has gone from bad to worse, nothing challenging to do, change is imminent..
